Bussers

Responsibilities:

• Clear and reset tables promptly, removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils.

• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the dining area, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down tables and chairs.

• Replenish table supplies, such as napkins, condiments, and utensils, as needed.

• Support servers by assisting with water refills, bread service, and delivering food orders to tables.

• Collaborate with the server team to ensure efficient communication and coordination during service.

• Assist in the breakdown and cleaning of tables at the end of meal service.

• Empty and maintain cleanliness of trash receptacles and bus stations.

• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items or service.

• Communicate any customer feedback or concerns to the appropriate staff members.

• Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the restaurant.

• Adhere to safety and sanitation standards, following proper food handling procedures.

• Work as a team player, providing support and assistance to colleagues as needed.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods and lift/ move bus tubs or trays.

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per restaurant schedules.

• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

• Prior experience as a busser or in a similar role is preferred.

• Understanding and commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment.

• Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and service procedures.
