ABOUT THE ROLE
Pinnacle Golf Club is seeking a dedicated and experienced Banquet Cook to join our culinary team. This full-time position requires flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event needs. The ideal candidate will have prior kitchen experience, with banquet or high-volume cooking experience preferred.
REQUIREMENTS:
Food Preparation:
Prepare food items according to event menus and recipes while ensuring consistency and quality.
Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients accurately.
Cook various dishes, including meats, seafood, vegetables, and other menu items, using different techniques such as baking, grilling, frying, boiling, and steaming.
Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature and meets quality standards.
Set up and maintain buffet stations as needed.
Food Presentation:
Arrange and garnish food attractively for service.
Monitor buffet stations to ensure food remains fresh, hot, and visually appealing throughout events.
Kitchen Management & Sanitation:
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols, including proper food handling and storage.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.
Event Coordination:
Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service.
Follow event timelines and production schedules to meet service deadlines.
Assist with carving stations, plating, or other buffet service duties as needed.
Help set up and break down kitchen operations for events.
Skills & Qualifications:
Prior experience in a kitchen; banquet or high-volume cooking experience is a plus.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Compensation:
Compensation will be determined based on experience.
