Hourly Rate: $23/ Hour

Weekly Hours: 30-40 hours (flexible based on weekly needs)


Summary:
Cimi’s Bistro at Pinnacle is seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring day-to-day operations, supporting restaurant staff, and managing various tasks efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, reliability, and a proactive approach to handling responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Restaurant Operations: Oversee and orchestrate the seamless execution of day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and excellence in service delivery.

  • Empower and Assist Restaurant Team: Provide unwavering support to the restaurant staff, offering assistance where needed.

  • Uphold Adherence to Staff Guidelines: Ensure the consistent adherence to staff guidelines, including but not limited to dress code standards, and the proper display of name tags. Uphold a professional and polished image within the team, contributing to the overall excellence of Cimi’s Bistro.

  • Manage Shift Documentation: Execute precise management of shift paperwork, including tip-out worksheets, end-of-day reports, and updates to the point-of-sale system. Maintain accurate records for operational efficiency.

  • Facilitate Effective Communication with Staff: Foster seamless communication with the kitchen team regarding reservations and communication with restaurant staff pertaining to the weekly specials.

  • Offer Comprehensive Support: Extend proactive support to staff, Pinnacle members, and dining guests, addressing needs and inquiries to enhance the overall guest experience.

  • Ensure Adherence to Company Policies: Vigilantly enforce and ensure compliance with company policies, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and operational integrity.

  • Train and Recruit: Spearhead the training and recruitment processes, identifying and developing top-tier talent aligned individuals with Cimi’s Bistro's values and service standards.

  • Safety and Food Quality Standards: Maintain an unwavering commitment to safety and food quality standards, creating an environment that prioritizes the well-being of both guests and team members.

  • Address and Resolve Customer Concerns: Skillfully handle customer concerns and complaints, utilizing effective problem-solving techniques to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.



Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as per event schedules.

  • 1 year minimum experience in a management position

  • Restaurant experience (serving, bartending, bussing, hosting, expoing, etc.)

  • Reliable transportation

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Trustworthy with money handling responsibilities

  • Fast learner with a strong understanding of the industry

  • Tips Training qualification

  • CPR qualification preferred

  • Experience with reservations systems (OpenTables, Jonas, Club Connect)

  • GED/ High School diploma 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field of study is preferred
