About the Role
We are currently seeking friendly and organized individuals to join our team as Hosts/Hostesses. As a Host/Hostess, you will play a vital role in overseeing tables, seating dining guests, and being the first point of contact for our establishment. You will also be responsible for answering phone calls, providing event information, creating reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of guests in the restaurant.
Responsibilities:
Oversee table assignments and seating arrangements, ensuring efficient seating of dining guests.
Communicate with servers to determine availability and manage table distribution to balance workload among servers.
Greet guests with a warm welcome and provide them with menus, guiding them to their designated table.
Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, providing information, taking reservations, and answering customer inquiries.
Assist customers via phone in placing to-go orders.
Stay informed about club events, promotions, and activities to provide accurate information to patrons and members.
Assist guests in guiding or registering for events and making reservations, offering recommendations and insights. Communicate with your manager prior to your shift in regards to any events and or updates regarding events.
Maintain a professional and organized reservation system, ensuring accurate recording of guest information and special requests.
Manage and update the reservation book, monitor table availability, and maximize seating capacity.
Provide assistance and support to guests as needed, addressing concerns, and resolving any issues that arise.
Coordinate with other host/ hostess team members to ensure seamless transitions between shifts and provide consistent service.
Maintain a clean and organized host/ hostess station, including menus, promotional materials, and reservation supplies.
Requirements:
You must be at least 16 years of age to apply!
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Friendly and welcoming demeanor, creating a positive first impression for guests.
Familiarity with the club's events, promotions, and activities.
Proficiency in handling phone calls and using reservation systems (you will be trained).
Prior experience as a host/ hostess or in a similar role is preferred.
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
Knowledge of restaurant operations and seating protocols.
