All golfers want a true challenge of their abilities, and at nearly 7,500 yards long, the championship caliber golf course has been rated as one of the most difficult in Ohio. Member tees are a respectable 6,800 yards, while ladies will be tested with 5,500 yards. Forced carries and tight tee shots are rewarded with ample landing areas and manicured greens. Every hole offers a unique challenge to the member and their guests. The fourth hole for example is a 450 yard par 4 with a wide landing area awaiting all caliber of players’ tee shots. The second shot is a true test of the player’s mettle, and a wonderful risk/reward attempt – a triple waterfall highlights your approach with a pond waiting in case your shot strays left or long; or aim for the right side of the green and chance leaving yourself with a long birdie putt. Number fifteen is a short par 3 measuring 163 yards to a downhill green with bunkers left and long and a creek running along the right side of the green. The finishing hole at Pinnacle is a massive 600 yards from the rear tees and will prove itself to be one of the best on the course. After a tee shot over a creek, the player is greeted by a large landing area setting up a second shot with bunkers left and a small grove of trees to the right. The wide fairway and natural fall of the land will filter most shots to a landing area where the green is elevated and only a short iron shot away. But watch out for the false front and three tiers where accuracy is rightfully rewarded.
